Discover Charlie Chaplin, his family, life and work in silent movies. Visit the nearby resort town of Montreux and have a relaxing end of the tour at the thermal bath in Les bains de Lavey. Your tour will start with the visit of Chaplin’s World (entrance ticket not included). Walk through the sets of Charlie Chaplin’s greatest movies and learn about him as an artist and as a man. Visit the manoir, where you can discover Charlie’s personal belongings, see how he has furnished the living quarters and learn about his interesting childhood. Be sure to visit the Hollywood-style studio and find out more about silent movies.
After the impressions of Chaplin’s World, it is time to see Montreux, a charming city by Lake Geneva, surrounded by vineyards. In Montreux you will have free time to explore the city at your own pace and to have lunch (not included). Tour assistant will help you navigate the city and find the places important to you. To have a fully relaxed afternoon, tour continues to Les bains de Lavey.
Enjoy the hottest thermal water in Switzerland with water temperature of 33 C to 36 C (91 F to 96 F) in Les bains de Lavey. You can soak in 1600 m2 big bath, where you can experience different options such as a whirlpool, massage jets, waterfalls, underwater currents and massages. To rest from the nice swim in pools, you will find two hammam – one for a man and one for women with high humidity and warm temperature. It is the best place to warm up with great relaxation. Les bains de Lavey also offers relaxation area with fireplace and foot bath.
