Grimentz made left Swiss’s most beautiful villages!
You will have the opportunity to discover the commonplace oven of the village, used by the rustic community to cook its bread. The access to the oven is generally booked for the inhabitants.
To share a fondue is a very important tradition Swiss and of Valais. I would be happy to share this moment with you. Only for you: you can taste this fondue with your own rye bread
I make an appointment with you in the parking lot of the wine shop at 4 pm
1. Visit of the old village
To start with, we shall go to make a tour of the old village of Grimentz for the traditional and typical houses of Cost which will know how to surprise you. I shall explain you the life of formerly, the particular story of the village and the valley.
2. Bread making of rye
You will have the opportunity to learn to make some rye bread together with nice bakers of Grimentz. The rye bread is the very former speciality of the region and its manufacturing is particular. The doors of the commonplace oven will be opened to us.
3. A fondue to finish
Well to end the evening in beauty, we shall have an aperitif and we shall share a cheese fondue (drinks non-included with the melt ). You can eat the fondue with the rye bread which you have just made!
