The exciting day starts with a panoramic drive along the shores of Lake Lucerne towards the town of Kriens. After reaching Kriens hop aboard the aerial cableway “Dragon Ride” and enjoy the jaw-dropping views out of the panoramic windows, specially designed to give the feeling of flying. Once at the top of Mt Pilatus (2132 m), venture down the Dragon’s Path or go for a short hike to the summit. Later you can relax on the panorama terrace admiring magnificent views over the surrounding mountains of the Swiss Alps and the blue lakes in the valleys below. The beautiful Lake of the Four Cantons and enjoy the spectacular landscape from an entirely different angle. The excursion ends at the pier in Lucerne.

Stop At: Albispasshöhe, 8135 Langnau am Albis, Switzerland

The tour journey starts with the drive through the gorgeous small mountain road called Albis Pass. This is a lovely mountain pass located near Zurich.

Stop At: Kuessnacht am Rigi, Kuessnacht am Rigi

At the end of the Albis Pass, we continue our drive on the highway only for a short distance. After exiting the stunning the Pass, you will soon reach the coasts of Lake Lucerne. The scenic area around the lake will leave you breathless. The temperature is moderate; neither too hot nor too cold. We will make a stop at a lovely town called Küssnacht. Also, there is a lovely small church located beside the lake.

Stop At: Merlischachen, Merlischachen

Driving along the shores of Lake Lucerne, you will see a wooden building embellished with different nuances of red flowers. This is the popular Swiss Chalet at Merlischachen. This is an alluring place famous among the locals. You can have a cup of coffee at a typical Swiss ambiance.

Stop At: Kriens, Kriens, Lucerne

After reaching the town of Kriens, you will board the Gondola to the middle station Fraekmuntegg. From Frakemuntegg you will board the new aerial cableway where you feel like flying into the top of Mt. Pilatus. The spacious seating, a cockpit-like structure, and large windows, the cableway offers a unique perspective to the city and the lake of Lucerne

Stop At: Pilatus Luzern, Schlossweg 1, Kriens, Lucerne 6010 Switzerland

At the end of the cableway, you will reach the Pilatus Kulm the summit with the highest peak located at 2128 meters. Enjoy the majestic view of the lake and the city of Lucerne. During the winter season, it is guaranteed to have snow at the summit.

There is a nice restaurant at Pilatus Kulm where you can have short or a complete meal.

Stop At: Alpnachstad, Alpnachstad

You will be experiencing the descent with one of the world’s steepest cogwheel trains taking passengers all the way from the summit of Mt. Pilatus which is located at an altitude of 2000m to the town of Alpnachstad. After the descent, you will be boarding the cruise to Lucerne.

Stop At: Lake Lucerne, Lucerne Switzerland

You will be experiencing a section of one of the best Lake cruises in Switzerland. After boarding the ship in Lucerne get yourself comfortably seated in the upper deck of the Ship. You can just sit back and enjoy the scenery as the ship will be cruising along the lake Lucerne with snow-capped mountains in the background.

You will be discovering Lucerne and its charming old town. The city tour to Lucerne starts off with one of the best preserved wooden bridges in Switzerland – The Chapel Bridge. The bridge is always beautifully decorated with lots of flowers. After spending some time at the Chapel bridge, you will be walking through the old town of Lucerne and visit famous spots like the Lion monument, Jesuitenkirche(Church) and Schwanenplatz.
