We depart early morning from Lucerne to Engelberg through the beautiful swiss country side on a 40 min. relaxing train ride. Continue by a scenic cable car towards the mountain summit. At 3,238 metres (10,623 ft), Mount Titlis, is Central Switzerland’s loftiest peak exuding a snow and ice spectacular view. This journey in Switzerland is even more camera-compulsory because you’ll be riding in the revolving Rotair, an aerial cable car that delivers awesome 360-degree panoramic views of the snow-covered valleys, glaciers, lakes, forests, and mountains in Switzerland. Walk across the Titlis Cliff Walk, this spectacular suspension bridge sits over 1,600 feet off the ground. Continue your adventure through the “Glacier Cave” a 150-metre-long walkway descending ten metres below the surface of the glacier. Exploring the glacier cave is a cool experience. The temperature inside the cave remains a frosty -1.5˚C.

After you are finished with your glacier adventure at 11.000 ft. we will descent to Trübsee Station and walk around the Alpine Lake, the trail is mostly flat and can be walked with comfortable shoes (not hiking boots are mandatory) Total walking time approx. 1 hr.

Either at Mt Titlis or Trübsee you will find several options to enjoy a meal surrounded with dramatic mountain and glaciers views.

We continue by cable car back to Engelberg station to begin our 40 min. train journey back to Lucerne. Get ready for a two hr. walking tour visiting the Chapel Bridge, Lion Monument, City Wall and Lucerne Castle. This walking tour offers some of the most remarkable landscapes of the city and its jaw-dropping surroundings.
